Like everyone else who goes on a year abroad, I’m going to try and document my journey. I’ve had far too many blogs to count over the years, they all mean a lot to me. Hopefully this one will too!

I’m a 25 year old language graduate. Overall laid back guy with a thirst for travel. Expect introspective, often self-deprecating but always honest writing. I’ll be sharing the highs and lows of my experiences as and when they happen, hopefully more highs than lows!

Reading this makes me feel violently ill.

I’m 28 now. My degree isn’t a character trait. This blog portrays me as anything but laid back. This is my space to vent. I don’t have a thirst for anything other than water.  95% of this blog will have nothing to do with travel. I almost exclusively right when I’m unhappy.

I still own those sunglasses, and my beard looks slightly more joined up.

Now that expectations have been realigned, welcome to my journal.
